Things to Do

A ten-minute ferry trip will take you to Angel Island State Park. This island park is the perfect spot for a day trip or a weekend getaway, as the area offers campsites. As you explore the park, you’ll come across historic buildings, dozens of trails, various wildlife, and Perimeter Road, which runs along the island’s coast and is passable via bicycle. Blackies Pasture, the former home of the infamous Blackie, a retired military and rodeo horse, is also located on Angel Island.

Paradise Beach Park attracts hundreds of tourists and residents to its waterfront every month. This peaceful seaside park features a shady grove of Redwoods ideal for picnic lunches, a popular fishing pier, and a small beach.
